SUHBA has partnered with the Washington County School District to promote Careers in Construction. Students gain hands-on experience by participating in the Construction & Architecture pathway at the Career Tech High School. Joining them are students from Construction Technology programs at other high schools in the district. They program and build an actual home featured during the award-wining St. George Area Parade of Homes. Career Tech High School’s mission “is to empower students with knowledge, skills, and values that advance their education, accelerate their careers, and enhance their lives.”
